Has anyone done a deflex handle hornbow? Why not? In modern bows, deflex-reflex (recurve) design is the best, and according to the extensive simulation, deflex handle design has many advantages. So why it is not used in natural material bows?
Good question.Too bad I can’t answer it…ha ha.
I’m sure it’s been looked at or played around with before.
Did you mean something like this one ( scroll down for second post, but there are another three similar ones in older contributions ) ?

Just thinking here…I guess the limbs might have to have even more refllex for the tips to end up at the same height as a flat handled bow???
Yes! It look like nice bow. When you compare the bending of the limbs to that first bow (salmon skin Turkish bow), which have 90 degree angle between handle and limbs at full draw, that deflex handle bow look more beautiful and is less stressed and probably is also more durable.
That facebook page for pictures does not come up on my computer for some reason.
