Sounds good. You could have even more horn at kasan eye.

I think I followed natural taper of horn. It was from 14 to 3mm at 50cm length.
Right away sounds better than 1 month like in Adam K. Book.
Even Adam doesn’t agree nowadays with all the things he mentions in the book.
Of course we don’t want to harm the bow, but i’ve never even had a close counter with shaping the core when it has rested 10 hours.
When i was really pushing hide glue, i braced a hide glue laminated longbow after 12 hours. It delaminated from tip but didnt even break. Just reglued and didnt bend it this time next 12h.

I sent them a message asking for 4kg of topaz1. But the price would have been 21e/kg + 32e shipping to Finland. Preeeetty ridiculous price. With 30kg bag price would have been 10,5e/kg. 
What the F*ck, I get it for 4,5 € /kg last year. I think they’re using too much russian gas I think it is worth it only for sizing. I can send you small amount if you want.
