I am new to this process and I hope someone could advise me on this issue. I currently trying to process some horn but as illustrated by the photos -hopefully clearly enough-, there is this issue that the horn is too bent or not straight enough for me to get a reasonable length out of it.
Forgive my ignorance on the matter. Hopefully, there are some solutions to this matter.

I’m afraid the horn was cut wrong originally. There is no way you can get straight piece out of them anymore. If you would straighten them with heat, they will eventually return to the twisted shape.
When the horn is initially cut, there is possibility to align the cut so that you can have a straight horn plate even from very twisted horn. But its still not something that I would recommend.
